Darwin and Kakadu Nat'l Park Nov 25/26 2011

Don't know the name of this bird but it likes to walk on the roof. Quite a noise.
Nourlangie Rock in Kakadu
Our tour was 13hrs. Long day. 3 hour drive each way to the park. Well worth it
Yellow Water Billabong Cruise also in the park.
This is where we saw a lot of crocs and birds and
green space. It's the start of the rainy season here so lucky to see what we did as most roads can become flooded.

Our plane that took us to the Arnhem Land Escarpment. As a storm was fast approaching, unable to view the waterfalls

Back in Darwin across the street where we watch for sunsets and electrical displays from far off storms
AHHH, sporting the new crocodile leather hat
There coins from left to right....the small gold $2, the $1, the 50 cent piece, 20 cents, ten and 5 cents
Off to Cairns at 4am tomorrow. The shuttle picks us up 2 hours b4 our flight. Must sleep fast!!!

Love the hat...it's a beaut! I'm glad you enjoyed the "top end" - Northern Territory that is.
